In what should be a relaxing August, something has Park Slopers freaked out: the appearance of a white-painted ghost stroller padlocked to a parking sign on the corner of Union Street and Sixth Avenue. Is it a memorial to a mysterious accident? Or is it a "deliberate upending of the Park Slope dream of better parenting through good taste?" Or maybe just a warning to look both ways before crossing the street. [NYT]
