Our Bowery rental radar has been pretty closely honed on 2 Cooper Square, but there are other new rental buildings on the Bowery. Like the Bowery Continental at 196 Bowery. It doesn't have a rooftop pool, but it has been totally transformed into its new, seven-floor luxury rental form. As Bowery Boogie notes, the building's first listings are up. So what do we know about pricing? The five apartments on the market so far, one- and two-bedrooms, range from $3,250 to $5,995/month. All units have balconies, washer/dryers, and various luxury fixtures, plus those floor-to-ceiling windows. And, according to the brokerbabble, "Each unit comes with a private 6x10 storage room for anything from your wine Collection to your in-laws." And if you can't get on board with putting your in-laws in storage, there's always the art gallery that'll be opening on the ground floor. We didn't find many interior shots, but there are a few floorplans kicking around.
