Big day for poet-related real estate. This is 20 East 127th Street, home to the writer Langston Hughes from 1948 through 1967. The home failed to sell when it was previously listed for $1.2 million, so, blogger Harlem Bespoke reports, it's taking another shot. The asking price this time is a slightly slimmer $1 million. Of course, the "still intact" details on the doors and moldings are pretty much the only parts of the 5BR, 4BA house that are still intact. Will $200,000 off be enough to lure in a buyer with an eye toward a mini Harlem Renaissance?
