Broker-blogger Malcolm Carter attended the estate auction of that 825-square-foot co-op at 60 Sutton Place South and reports that it was a snoozer. The one bid was the minimum of $580,000. A reason for the lack of action is that the buyer is responsible for replacing windows and a sliding glass door. Asked for his reaction, the winning bidder responded, "I don’t have any reaction."
