Glassy sliver building 1055 Park Avenue squeezed itself in among the more traditional architecture of Park Ave, but it hasn't had quite as much luck squeezing itself into buyers' hearts. The penthouse PriceChoppage started early, and now the Chopper's back for the rest. Unit prices have been cut 30 percent, The Real Deal reports. A formerly $14.5 million triplex is now $8.95 million, and an $11.45 million duplex is $7.5 million. The building's also on its third brokerage, and while one unit was rumored to be in contract, it's not listed on the building's StreetEasy page. Nor is this the developer's only struggling project: he's facing a foreclosure lawsuit at 859-861 Lexington Avenue, but he tells The Real Deal there are no such financial woes at 1055 Park. Will this lonely glass slipper ever find its matching buyers?
