Artist Auctioning Water Mill Estate; August Renters Confused

1) That living room above belongs to artist Setsuo Ito, who is leaving the Hamptons for Utah, and needs to get rid of his $10.995 million Water Mill hilltop house first. His solution: an auction! Click through for a gallery of the full 12,000 square feet.

2) A three-acre waterfront lot on North Haven's Actor's Colony Road closed for $12 million this week, reportedly the most expensive land transaction in Sag Harbor history. The land last sold for $4.528 million in 2004.

3) As August renters descend on the Hamptons, a few of them are forgetting pertinent travel details, such as which house they rented. One group of tenants accidentally unpacked in the house next door from the one they booked.
