Like Gizmodo unboxing an iPhone for the first time, Roosevelt Islander has a detailed and fairly epic unveiling of the new Roosevelt Island tram car, which arrived under the cover of night in a huge wooden crate. Initial reaction: No robots?! They've got until October 5th, when partial tram service is set to resume, to find us some damn robots. (In all seriousness, the new tram actually looks kind of awesome.)
