The bright side of our TMZ society: getting to see which boldface names are checking out all the new starchitecture around town. This time its Kelsey Grammer, noted 15 Central Park West renter, whose recent love life upheavals have put him back in the tabloids. He got snapped by a paparazzo taking in the Hudson River view at 200 Eleventh Avenue, architect Annabelle Selldorf's Sky Garage building, where Nicole Kidman and Domenico Dolce have already established West Chelsea command centers.
The Post's Jennifer Gould Keil reports in her column that Grammer was kicking the tires on a $5.95 million fifth-floor duplex, far beneath the likes of the building's other big-timers, but currently the only listing on the market in the building. In other odd pairings, Keil also reports that Joan Jett checked out ultraposh Soho Mews, which we assume doesn't give a damn about her reputation.
