A nonvenomous corn snake showed up Monday night on the toilet of a 19th-floor apartment in the Bronx, triggering some nightmares we hope we forget ASAP. Experts aren't sure how it got there, but it may have been an escaped pet that crawled out of the toilet after traveling through the pipes. The Journal says snake entries by toilet are rare, but when one occurred in Cobble Hill in 2007, the building's pipes had to be removed to get the 7-foot python out. And we're never going to sleep again. [WSJ]
