Things aren't looking good for the Charles Gwathmey-designed apartment at 240 Centre Street. The place has seen some major choppage over the years, and now it's got competition. New to market is an apartment at 1185 Park Avenue that Gwathmey spent two years renovating, the Times reports. The apartment was designed specifically for the owners Carol and Alan Pomerantz. Very specifically: Gwathmey built their closets to fit each Pomerantz's shoe and shirt sizes. So any prospective buyers might want to bring along a measuring tape before forking over $5.75 million.
