Gowanus Canal Shows Newtown Creek Who's Shittiest

On the day Newtown Creek grabs headlines for being the area's newest ultra-polluted Superfund site, the Gowanus Canal reminds us which waterway is Brooklyn's O.G. stink bomb. Check out this clip of raw sewage flooding into the Gowanus after the tornado storm, shot in part from an apartment overlooking The Blob (location location location!). This may just be a video, but somehow it still smells.
