Andrew Lloyd Webber Finally Bows Out of Trump Tower

New, 8 comments

Long-suffering celebrity apartments are having one heck of a month. First the Olsen twins' five-year ordeal at the West Village's 1 Morton Square comes to a close, and now Andrew Lloyd Webber, he of the music of the night, has sold his Trump Tower duplex after 17 years of flirtations. The Wall Street Journal reports that the composer sold the 5,300-square-foot apartment?on the 59th and 60th floors of Trump's Fifth Avenue Apprentice set?for $16.5 million. A hit? A bomb? Let the critics decide! It was listed way back in 1993 for just $7.95 million, but since 2000 it has made appearances at $15 million, $22.5 million and, most recently, $19 million. Check out the floorplan that Cats bought.
