How Much to Live in a Far West Village Prison?

New, 18 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: 4BR, 3BA condo on Jane Street alllll the way west.
Square Feet: 2,039
Maintenance/CC: $1,500
The Skinny: Now that the West Village's 10014 zip code has retained its crown as New York's priciest, we thought we'd dabble in the neighborhood for this week's PriceSpotter. And we found this interesting family-size condo, in a building that's seen some regular Curbed play over the years. It's a first-floor unit, hence the bars, which create a cell-like feel in some of the above pictures. Who's going to break in, unruly Jane Hotel revelers? But hey, dem's da breaks when you're trying to raise some kiddies in NYC's most expensive neighborhood. Bonus: outdoor space! So what's the ask?
