This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...
1) West Village: Waffle shops don't have the greatest track record in the Village, but that's not stopping Wafflemeister, rendered above. The owner is set to appear before the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation next week.
1) East Harlem: Not only is chef Marcus Samuelsson opening a new restaurant in Harlem, but he's on a mission to convert Harlem to a brand.
3) East Village: Potential feud alert! East Village newbie V-Nam cafe opened and then closed when the menu appeared to be very similar to Baoguette. The place will reopen Tuesday with a menu that's still similar, but, ah, slightly less so.
