The Wall Street Journal is also wondering about this whole billionaire-developer-pleads-mental-incompetence thing in the William Beaver House loan lawsuit. You know, this one, regarding Tamir Sapir's "deteriorating mental condition." Says a lawyer for the Blackstone Group fund looking to recoup millions from the developer: "There has never been, and still continues not to be, any evidence that [the fund] was aware of this alleged mental incapacity of Sapir in 2006, if it even existed." Of that, no one seems quite sure. [WSJ]
