Foreclosures

2010 looks to have been a good year for enemies of foreclosure everywhere (in New York City). The number-crunchers at PropertyShark report that the city's scheduled first-time foreclosure auctions decreased by 32 percent between the fourth quarter of 2009 and the fourth quarter last year. They decreased 26 percent from 2010's third quarter, for a total of 487 scheduled auctions. [PropertyShark]
