The Battery Park City Hell Building has a new developer who hopefully won't rob the place blind to pay Staples and Verizon bills: the Related Companies! Crain's reports what we've all been waiting for, official word that Related is buying Rector Square from the liquidating Anglo Irish Bank, which foreclosed on developer Yair Levy's botch job (there are still lawsuits to be sorted out). Related gets the building's 232 unsold units, garage and office space for a bargain $82.8 million, and they've already contacted the AG's office about becoming the new sponsor. Happy ending?
