Bloomingdale's Gets Meta With Snow; High Line Retail Still Hot

And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Soho: Bloomingdale's is using the windows of its Soho outpost for a little commentary on Snowpocalypse '10. There's fake snow on a cardboard NYC skyline and piles of trash bags, used here as a throne for a mannequin.

2) LES: The Lower East Side no longer has a card shop offering complimentary pole dances. JillAnne has closed, and with it goes the offer of a free dance for any purchase of more than $50.

3) MePa: High Line retail space is a hot item right now, and circling still-empty spaces are Michael Kors and British beauty chain Space NK, both apparently close to signing leases.
