Restaurant Faces Scaffolding Nightmare; BPC Shake Shack Hiring

New, 4 comments

This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) FiDi: It isn't only residential buildings that face scaffolding nightmares. Currently embroiled in one is Les Halles, which escaped from a three-year scaffolding imprisonment in June only to find itself under the scaffold again this week.

2) Williamsburg/Bushwick: The residents of Grand and Keap Streets are none too wild about a proposal to open a 66-seat speakeasy on the corner. Surprisingly, the residents of Bushwick and Meserole Streets are okay with plans for a 700-person music venue in a former storage space. Must have been getting too quiet!

3) BPC: The upcoming Battery Park City Shake Shack is officially looking for managers.

4) NYC: For your weekend planning needs, a list of New York's 12 most expensive cocktails.
