2087 Fifth Avenue has become the third Harlem townhouse to sell for more than $2 million in the past couple of years, according to Harlem Bespoke. The house might not be so proud of that fact, because the $2.075 million for which it just sold is down from a 2006 ask of $3.3 million, but it's still a significantly-sized sale for the area. So how does a seller get over $2 million for a 7,000-square-foot Harlem townhouse? Harlem Bespoke's analysis: it's all about the 20' width, interior detail restoration, herringbone floors, and pinhole recessed lights. We'd give some credit to the house's bones, which look like they were pretty epic to begin with.
