The Polo Grounds, the Harlem stadium of the New York Giants, doesn't get much attention compared to the Dodgers' Ebbets Field. But the San Francisco Giants will be touring their ancestral homeland this weekend, which makes for a perfect opportunity to review the history of the ballpark/football stadium. Most memorable: the wacky outfield dimensions and the clubhouse where the Giants' plotted to steal opposing teams' signs. Ah, those were the days. [NYT]
