A state Supreme Court judge has denied a motion for a temporary restraining order against the Park51 Muslim center and mosque. The motion came from 9/11 firefighter Timothy Brown, who has sued to block construction on the grounds that the site should have been declared a landmark. Now Brown's attorney says the motion was irrelevant anyway, since construction isn't expected to begin any time soon. Next time, maybe wait until the Park51 team is only $50 million away from breaking ground? [Real Deal; previously]
