Is it more surprising that Jennifer Aniston scoped out an $8.75 million penthouse in the heart of NYUville, or that there's an $8.75 million penthouse in the heart of NYUville? We'd have to say the latter, because Aniston's hunt for a posh Manhattan pad has been going on longer than her hunt for a life partner (maybe she was spoiled by those lofty digs on Friends?). The Post's Jennifer Gould Keil brings word that Aniston recently visited the five-bedroom, four-bathroom triplex atop 552 LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village, which is back on the market after failing to sell for $14.5 million(!) and $9.995 million.
The listing pics are a bit tiny, but what stands out is the metal staircase that winds its way up the space and to the private roof, from where Aniston (or whomever ends up buying the place) can keep a close eye on NYU's expansion across the street. We've helpfully highlighted this feature.
