The recent buyer of a $5.74 million 19th-floor condo at Jean Nouvel's 100 Eleventh Avenue turns out to be Larry Mueller, a former e-commerce CEO. Mueller picked 100 Eleventh because Nouvel's "architecture really spoke to me," he tells the Observer. But sometimes money speaks louder: Mueller flipped his last condo at 15 Central Park West for $13.73 million last year after buying it for $6.1 million. After that sale, the Nouvel condo was actually Mueller's back up purchase. His first choice? One Madison Park. [NYO]
