Before the Hotel of the Future, Another Look at 5 Beekman's Past

New, 5 comments

The beautifully decayed 5 Beekman Street, aka Temple Court, was a rediscovered gem of 2010. Everyone with an interest in the NYC of yore fell in love with the vacant vintage building's incredible architecture after a blog post on Scouting NY dusted off the old gal. Now Gothamist shares yet another series of cool pictures inside the the Lower Manhattan building, and more details about the perhaps pie-in-the-sky luxury hotel conversion. Above, a rooftop shot showing the top of the famous atrium and the two towers that could become penthouse suites. Er, once that $50 million lawsuit gets settled.
