Manhole explosions, underground fires and other scary subterranean events have become a way of life in the Big Apple, and this video is proof. Watch as flames shoot up from the corner of Bleecker and Leroy Streets on the night of January 1st while cabs nonchalantly drive by, and the cameraman gets closer instead of shrieking like a little schoolgirl. Also strange: The fire has more rhythm than one of those subway bucket drummers.
