With the West Chelsea Starchitecture District now fully fleshed out, it's the West Village's turn. Joining Robert A.M. Stern and FLAnk on far West 12th Street will be Annabelle Selldorf, who, the Times reports, is planning a new building at 335 West 12th Street. The building, which could alternately be known as 802 Greenwich Street, will only be four stories, and permits call for an 11,000-square-foot, one-, two-, or three-family building replacing the one-story commercial structure that used to be on the site (right). The project manager tells the Times only that Selldorf's design will be "architecturally quiet," in keeping with the neighborhood, which we guess means no sky garage.
