After more than four yeas and untold avian casualties, it's a big day for Richard Meier's glassy On Prospect Park. The building has finally passed the 50% sold milestone, with sales recorded for 52 of its 96 units. Developer Mario Procida tells the Journal that, counting sales yet to hit public record, the building is actually over 60 percent sold. Of course, that's after some substantial choppage, a restructured mortgage, and an epidemic of loneliness among early residents who had more than weekend homes in mind. When asked whether he's likely to break even on the project, Procida tells the Journal, with an enigmatic smile, "I prefer not to discuss it." We're taking that as a no.
