It's not a great day for the beloved neighborhood cafes in several city neighborhoods. After almost 12 years, Boerum Hill's Victory Cafe is getting evicted at the end of the month, to the dismay of neighbors who consider it the area's living room. On West 125th Street, the old M & G Diner is getting sidewalk sheds after a long construction freeze. No word on what's happening to the space, but the old signs appear to be sticking around.
