New Shop for Fancy Village Pups; BK Boutique Lasts 5 Months

New, 1 comment

And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Central Village: The good thing about high-end new University Place pet store DoggyStyle is that if it doesn't succeed, a porn shop can move in and just leave up the signage.

2) Boerum Hill Atlantic Avenue shop Jodi Arnold was yet another sign that the BoCoCa retail scene was doing big things, but it has closed after only five months. Fear not, the Barneys Co-op is still going strong.

3) Lower East Side: Jill Zarin, Lower East Side preservationist? Eh, not quite, but the Real Housewives of New York star said that even though she and her husband are looking for a tenant to take over the ground-floor space of the Zarin Frabrics store on Grand Street, the classic Zarin awnings aren't going anywhere.
