One reason why the Occupy Wall Street protestors have been able to occupy Zuccotti Park for so long now: landlord Brookfield Office Properties is just so darn nice! Anonymous real estate execs tell Capital New York that while landlords like Sheldon Solow and Charles Cohen would be suing the protestors or putting up fences, Brookfield so far has made no move to kick the protestors out or have them declared trespassers, which would prompt the police to remove them. Mayor Bloomberg has also said he'll allow protestors to stay indefinitely, so this could go on for a while. [Capital]
