The grandest apartment building in New York is keeping busy: a $29 million, 13th floor spread bought by Loews movie theater heiress Laurie Tisch was featured this month in an equally luxe magazine spread courtesy of Architectural Digest. The article doesn't name names, but an eagle-eyed tipster did some sleuthing and writes:
"Looking at the outside pictures, it is clear that the apartment has an arch on the north side of the apartment. There is also a solarium in the pictures. Here you can view the bird's eye views of apartment buildings on Fifth Avenue in the 60s and 70s that would have roughly the views of the park as shown in the pictures, as well as those two characteristics. Additionally, if you look through the arch in slide 16, the outline of the buildings across the park fits with what I believe you would see from 834 Fifth Avenue."
