One of the thousand visitors to OHNY's open house for Eero Saarinen's closed TWA Terminal was none other than archicritic Alexandra Lange, whose suggests that city leaders get their act together and put out a new RFP for "pure hospitality" (a bar and a lounge and a restaurant) in place of the long-delayed hotel plan. She also takes note of the beauty of the space, likening it to a film set with Beaux Arts symmetry and a bird-like shape "so obvious to [her] four-year-old that he spent most of the visit searching for the eyes, the legs, the beak to go with the outspread wings."
