Slightly belatedly for this week's rainstorm, Inwood Hill Park is getting an illuminated floating dome made of discarded umbrellas. The dome, designed by Slo Architecture and a group of students in the Bronx and called the Harvest Dome, will sit in the inlet off the park and is supposed to represent "a physical revelation of the city's accumulated waterborne debris." Since it's made of accumulated waterborne debris, we're gonna call this one a success. [DNAinfo]
