A heads up that the commenter-described "sex appeal rendering" we posted earlier today in a story about Stanford and Cornell proposals for Roosevelt Island now has company. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill released a whole set of renders describing in visuals the site's orientation towards the arc of the sun, plus technical details on the 150,000-square-foot, net-zero energy building and a solar array more than three times larger the biggest current solar array in New York City. Gallery fully updated here. [Curbed]
