Hotel Toshi is already making plans for the Flatiron Hotel, advertising for artsy hires and hoping to become a "living room for the neighborhood." The owners claim?we can't possibly summarize, so we'll just quote?that "Berkley Acquisitions, which sued them for allegedly backing out of a $30.2 million deal reached in April to sell the property, failed to make an escrow deposit, and then brought in third-party buyers to look at the hotel without permission." As long as someone's feeding the fish? [Real Deal; previously]
