Yesterday was a big day for artsy folks' real estate deals hitting public record. Not only did David LaChapelle purchase a classic Chelsea brownstone pad, but artist Ryan McGinness also made a real estate buy. McGinness's new home is a place at 57 Walker Street, for which he and his wife, Corcoran broker Trish Goodwin, paid $2.04 million. The 1,830-square-foot 3BR, 2BA was asking $2.095M. [NYO]
