Here's a blog dedicated to an "installation placing mini hotels where bed bugs have been reported." The creator, Hunter Fine tells Gothamist he was inspired to create the pieces after hearing stories of his friends allegedly getting screwed over by their landlords. "They were pretty upset and their slumlord management company in the East Village did very little to help, and blamed it on them. They later found out several other people in the building had the same problem. It was a WTF moment for me, I couldn't believe there was no warning. So I thought I'd help people out, and put up some bed bug hotels in places that had been infested."
