Foreclosure Auctions Decrease; Harlem Sol Hits 50 Percent

New, 4 comments

NYC?Adding to the week's stream of third-quarter reports, PropertyShark has put together its quarterly report on new foreclosure auctions. The vital stats: new foreclosure auctions fell by 33 percent from the second quarter and 69 percent from the third quarter of last year. More than 50 percent of the city's first-time foreclosures occurred in co-ops, but the number of co-op foreclosures still fell 52 percent year-over-year. That's what we like to see! HARLEM?We haven't had much of anything to say about Harlem Sol, a two-building condo at 121 and 123 West 131st Street. Let's rectify that now, shall we? Reps tell us the project is 50 percent sold. Of course, it helps that the building is teeny: 121 West 131st has four units; 123 West 131st has eight. [CurbedWire Inbox]
