The Observer's new, adorably-named parenting magazine takes issue with New York's generally uninspired playgrounds, leftover bastions from the Robert Moses era of efficiency. Suggesting imagination stations more akin to the Dutch model of Klimglijklauterhangzitvoetbaltoneelbuis (roughly translated as "the climb-slide-clamber-hang-sit-soccer-stage-tube"), it's a call for better design across the city, hopefully manifested in the 258 city playgrounds affected by the 2007 PlaNYC initiative Schoolgrounds to Playgrounds.
