Some of Coney Island's on-the-verge-of-eviction boardwalk businesses could be saved, but the others have leases that expire today. So five of them are auctioning off their equipment and memorabilia, including neon signs, bar stools, and a Build-A-Bear machine (with bears and stuffing, natch), this afternoon. Ruby's, which is negotiating for a new lease, is not participating in the auction. But if it does get a new lease, it will need a complete redo, so those fixtures might hit the block soon. [BK Daily]
