The Times photo blog has a neat anecdote on how the aerial photographer responsible for the images of the World Trade Center aftermath was found: the Yellow Pages. In 2001, Gregg Brown was a struggling actor who listed an ad for rush jobs in the phone book. Three days after 9/11 he got a random call from FEMA, and the rest is history. Now, some of the 30,000 color frames he shot over nine months above Ground Zero and the Fresh Kills landfill are on display at ICP. [NYT/Lens Blog]
