FXFowle's GiraSole may not have survived in the face of a 7 line extension, but Kohn Pedersen Fox is coming out ahead in the tower race over at Hudson Yards. Yesterday the firm unveiled its designs for a pair of towers along 10th Avenue between West 30th and 33rd Streets. The positioning of the KPF towers not only leaves room for a preserved High Line but leaves room for a glassy new 7 train entrance, set to open in 2013. Coach will be moving into the first tower as of 2015, though Related has about 25.4 million square feet to lease.
