Long before that neighborhood blockbuster, The Time Warner Center, arrived in 2003, the grand poobah of Upper West Side views was Three Lincoln Center. It turns out that, despite the attention shift toward that twin-towered giant and the nearby 15 Central Park West, the views at Three Lincoln Center have retained their brilliance. A three-bedroom, 1,800-square-foot, high-floor apartment there hit the market this weekend asking $12K per month. Not exactly cheap, but a substantial savings on its newer neighbors. Plus, this building has been inspiring envy ever since 1995, when a 24-year-old aspiring actor scored a $1.06M apartment on the 56th floor.
