How One Renter Jazzed Up His Walls: 2,398 Sheets of Paper

New, 2 comments

Interior designer and self-described "paper fetishist" Doug Meyer lives in an unspecified rental building on the West Side near the High Line and the Hudson River, and after three years, its green color scheme was wearing out its welcome. What's a renter to do? Why, rig up a "riff on early wallpapers from the 1400s," also known as more than 2,000 sheets of 8½-by-11-inch paper digitally printed with one of 223 designs. (If you think that looks difficult, just imagine doing the same thing with tissue paper?)
