On the heels of the landmarking of Westbeth, the 383-unit artist housing complex designed by an early-career Richard Meier, the Times checks in on the greying of the building's tenants. Westbeth's original plan was to house artists for about five years while they grew their careers, but many of those original residents have yet to leave the building?41 years after it opened.
