After more than a few false starts, the latest plan for Hudson River Park's Pier 57 is about to move into the land-use approval process. What that plan includes: a rooftop park, a work-sell space for retailers and artists, and 300,000 square feet of markets, "dynamic and changing" restaurants, and other commercial space. Assuming the approval goes through, the project could break ground in 2013 and open in 2015. We can't imagine anything as dynamic as an underwater adventure. Hint, hint. [WSJ; previously]
