The City Council is this close to approving the redevelopment of Brooklyn Navy Yard's Admiral's Row this afternoon. The approval is expected despite the fact that the Navy Yard had to remove the original developer, PA Associates, after federal bribery charges against one of the company principals earlier this year. You do hate to see that. The Navy Yard Development Corporation should take over the site by the end of the year and will most likely issue a fresh request for proposals next month. [Crain's]
