One question we ask ourselves nearly every day: what fresh madness is happening at the National Arts Club? Today the answer is that former club president Aldon James will be facing the board in a hearing starting January 23. The Manhattan Supreme Court has disqualified several board members from voting in James's hearing?but it also reduced the number of votes needed to eject him from the club from 11 votes to 9.
