Room 822 at the Hotel Chelsea was the site of a photo shoot for Madonna's 1992 book, Sex. But these days the only thing going on in the room is destructoporn. A tipster sends along the above photo of how the room looks now, as the crews renovating the building do their work. The Hotel Chelsea received a Stop Work Order in the middle of November, citing improper asbestos removal. "This has not deterred the hotel," writes our tipster. "They continued working all last week and were spotted removing their equipment yesterday (Sunday)."
